This past year..

A year ago today I asked the most beautiful girl I knew to be my girlfriend. After all that has transpired over this past year, I am honored to still have her by my side, whether as my girlfriend or as my best friend. Eleanor Roosevelt once wrote that, “Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.” Hearing this quotation many times, and every time disregarding her words as nonsense or malarkey, I stand before you now a changed man, a believer in the meaning of pure and true friendship. Nobody knows what the future may hold for me in this year to come, but one thing remains certain, my heart will forever hold a special place for the girl I fell in love with one year ago.

Growing up,

We dream of finding that one person, the one individual who will change our lives forever. They will open up our hearts, and show us the true meaning of what love is. I am blessed to know that I have found that person. That I wake up everyday waiting to see her, hold her, and kiss her. The best part of my situation is I know she wakes up everyday feeling the same way. The best part about a relationship is not loving someone aimlessly, but knowing they the love you just as much in return.
